The outdoor obstacle course challenges the youngest Beaver Cub to the oldest Scout. With a range of obstacles, the course can be run as both a team building exercise or as a timed competitive session between small groups. Suitable in all weather conditions, but be warned, the wetter the muddier you’ll get! This activity is suitable for all age ranges.
We have hammock camping equipment available for hire on site so your group can experience a whole new type of camping in the forest. Immerse yourself in nature and the outdoors with common sights around the forest including Sika Deer, Irish Hare as well as native birds, squirrels and insects. Hammock Camping is suitable for all age ranges.
Take aim at our indoor archery range to learn a new skill or to polish up on your hand-eye coordination. Our indoor range is great in any weather, but unfortunately you won’t be able to blame the wind for that stray arrow this time. Children and youth of at least 9 years old can take part in this instructed activity with all equipment supplied.
Try out this high rope activity to test your nerve, or work as a group to help each other get as high as possible. For this indoor activity, only the ceiling is the limit, but not many can get that far! Coming soon we will also have an outdoor area where you can climbing between the trees. Children and youth of at least 9 years old can take part in this instructed activity with ropes and safety gear supplied.
Backwoods cooking is widely practiced within the Scouting movement. This is a method of cooking and meal preparation without the use of a kitchen. On this instructed activity you can get a “taste” of backwoods cooking to inspire your group to do more in the future. This instructed activity is suitable for ages 6 – 10 or for total beginners in backwoods cooking.
